With either the 115 hp BMW R1200 or the Rotax 100 hp 912ULS, takeoff roll on grass is less than 90m before transitioning into a vigorous 1,050 fpm climb rate (1,350 fpm solo), while a low 34 knot stall speed combined with light, fast responses mean short field landings are almost effortless. The electrically-adjustable hang point also offers the most powerful control of aircraft trim speed, seen in a maximum-weight hands-off trim range of 48-90+ mph.
